About My Bus

My Bus is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Golden Arrow Bus Services (GABS).

GABS publishes timetables for its Cape Town bus routes as PDF documents. This app reads those published documents and republishes the same information — departure times, service days, and stop sequences — as a searchable, offline-capable website. It does not add, infer, or guess any schedule information beyond what GABS has published.

Times shown are scheduled, not live. This app has no connection to any bus, driver, or GPS device — it cannot tell you where a bus currently is. It shows exactly what the published timetable says.

If GABS updates or corrects a timetable, this app is updated from the newly published document as soon as that document is added to the app’s corpus. If a timetable’s validity window has expired and no replacement has been published yet, the app says so explicitly rather than showing an out-of-date schedule as current.
